The Career + Professional Development office connects students with employers in the creative industries and assists them with strategies, skills, and pathways to employment.
Emily Carr offers Work Integrated Learning opportunities, through our Co-op Program, allowing students to gain valuable work experience, professional mentorship, and up to 9 academic credits in third or fourth year, while applying their knowledge and skills in the fields of media arts, visual arts and design.
Our office also liaises with industry and employers in creative fields, in order to assist students in obtaining employment through the Work Integrated Learning/Co-op Program, Internships and other career related opportunities.
